RETURN POLICY

EGLO India Private Limited having its registered office at A-307, Ansal Chambers - I, 3 Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi 110066, India (hereinafter, “EGLO India” or “we”, “our” or “us”), provides the below return policy (“Return Policy”) in respect of the Product(s).  For the purpose of this Return Policy, “user”, “you”, “your” shall mean the original and immediate purchaser of the Product(s), and/or the invoice against the purchase of the Product(s) from EGLO India.  All capitalized terms used and not defined herein shall have the meaning set forth in the General Terms & Conditions. This Return Policy together with the General Terms & Conditions sets out our procedures and policies in accepting the return for Product(s) thereof.

 

1. APPLICABILITY OF POLICY

  1. By initiating a request for the purchase Product(s), you agree to be bound by the terms contained in this Return Policy without modification. If you do not agree to the terms contained in this Return Policy, you are advised not to transact with EGLO India. 
  2. Please note that we may from time to time change the terms of this Return Policy. Every time you wish to purchase the Product(s) from us, please check the Return Policy to ensure that you understand the terms and conditions that apply at that time

 

2. RETURN PERIOD FOR DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED PRODUCT

You may return eligible Products within 10 days of the date of delivery, provided that the Products meet the conditions requirements set forth in Clause 3 (Conditions for Returns) below. 

 

3. CONDITIONS FOR RETURN 

You may initiate the request for replacement of the Product if - 

  1. the Product is damaged; or 
  2. the Product is defective; or 
  3. parts of the Product or accessory are missing;
  4. the Product ordered is different basis the Product description provided by EGLO India. 

 

4. RETURN PROCESS 

  1. If you have received any Product which is subject to the return in terms of this Return Policy, we suggest you to immediately register a request with EGLO India within the Return Period. For making any return request, you need to provide a description of the problem with supporting documentation/s as applicable and wherever pictures are required to substantiate the claim. 
  2. We will in our sole discretion verify if: (i) the defects and damages in the Products or the non-compliances claimed in such Products are acceptable by us, or (ii) such defects, damages or non-compliances are due to our default, and will accordingly post verification, accept or reject the request for return at our sole discretion. 
  3. If required, we or our authorized agency shall have the right to either examine the Product where it is located or, in its sole discretion, issue shipping instructions for the return of the Product. Our inspection in response to your claim shall not constitute acceptance or acknowledgement of the claim’s validity. You agree to prepay all transportation charges for such return. 
  4. If your replacement request is approved, we will confirm you via an email containing requisite details of our logistic partners, who will get in touch with you. Our logistic partner at the time of delivering the replaced Product shall also collect the damaged Product from You. Please ensure that you must hand over such Product to be replaced being provided to us in its unused, original condition, along with the original invoice, tags attached, user manual, warranty cards, and original accessories in the same condition as received.
  5. We reserve the right to reject your replacement request if it does not satisfy the aforementioned conditions provided in this clause.

 

5. EXCEPTIONS TO RETURN POLICY

You agree that we will not accept the return of any Product -

  1. if you have placed the order for a wrong Product model, colour or incorrect Product;
  2. if the Product belongs to the non-return category (for instance, personalised Products or made to order Products that are not suitable for return based on their nature);
  3. if you fail to register a complaint in relation to the Product within the Return Period;
  4. if any damage to the Product is caused by your improper wearing or safekeeping of the Product, or any modification or change to the Product by you or a third party. 
  5. if your failure to adhere to the elementary safety practices, the rules and regulations pertaining to electrical installations, failure to use the right protection devices, failure to  carry out proper verification before installation and failure to adhere to the national electrical code or such other safety regulations. 

Any decision by EGLO India in this regard shall be final and binding. 

 

6. CANCELLATION OF PRODUCTS

  1. You may cancel orders for Product(s) partially or fully within 48 hours from placing your order or prior to the shipment of the Product(s), whichever is earlier. Orders cannot be cancelled once the Product has been shipped.
  2. We shall cancel your order and initiate the refund within 7 business days from the date of acceptance of such cancellation request from you. The amount shall be refunded to you, through the same mode of payment used for purchasing the Product(s) by You. All refunds shall be subject to applicable policies and charges of the user’s bank/ financial institution.  

 

7. REFUNDS AND REPLACEMENTS

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned Product, EGLO India will determine whether the Product is eligible for a refund or replacement at its sole discretion. If the Product is eligible for a refund, EGLO India will issue a refund to the original payment method used for the purchase, less any applicable shipping costs, within 7 business days of its determination in accordance with its Refund Policy. If the Product is eligible for a replacement, EGLO India will ship a replacement Product to you within 3 business days of its determination, subject to availability and any applicable shipping costs.

 

8. AMENDMENT

EGLO India retains the right to modify this Return Policy at any time and without prior notice. Your continued purchase of Products from EGLO India following the implementation of any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the amended or revised Return Policy.
