Google Analytics

These are text files that are stored on your computer and that permit analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie concerning your use of the website is usually transferred to a server of Google in the USA and saved there. Since anonymisation of the IP address is activated on this website, your IP address will, however, be abbreviated by Google within member states of the European Union or other contracting states of the treaty on the European Economic Area before. Only in exceptions will the full IP address be transferred to a server of Google in the USA and abbreviated there. On the order of EGLO, Google will use this information in order to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and in order to render further services connected to website use and internet use for EGLO. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the scope of Google Analytics shall not be combined with other data of Google. You can prevent storage of cookies by making the corresponding setting in your browser software; however, please note that you may be unable to fully use all functions of this website in this case.

Use of the remarketing or "similar target group" function of Google Inc.

EGLO uses the remarketing or "similar target groups" function of Google Inc. ("Google") on the website. This function enables EGLO to provide targeted advertisement to the visitors of the website, in order to provide personalised interest-related advertisements for visitors of the EGLO websites when they visit other websites in the Google Display network. Google uses cookies to analyse the website use that forms the basis for compilation of the interest-related advertisements. For this, Google will save a small file with a number sequence in the browsers of the website visitors. This number is used to record visits to the website and anonymised data regarding use of the website. No personal data on the visitors of the website will be recorded. If you visit another website in the Google Display network subsequently, you will see advertisements that consider the previously called product and information areas with a high likelihood. You can permanently deactivate use of cookies by Google by following the following link and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. Alternatively, you can deactivate use of cookies by third providers by calling the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implementing the further information on opt-out described there. Further information on Google remarketing and the data privacy statement of Google can be viewed at: http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.

Facebook-Plugin

This website uses Social Plugins of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. After activation of the plugin by clicking the Facebook icon, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server will be established. Facebook is thereby informed that you visited our page with your IP address. If you click the Facebook "Like button" while you are logged in with your Facebook account, you can link contents of our pages to your Facebook profile. This way, Facebook will be able to assign your visit to our pages to your user account. Please note that we as provider of the pages have no knowledge of the contents of the transmitted data or their use by Facebook. Further information on this can be found in the data protection statement of Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/policy. If you do not want Facebook to be able to assign your visit to our pages to your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.

Use of the Google "+1"-button

These websites use the "+1" button of the social network Google Plus of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California, 94043 USA, (hereinafter: "Google").

If you call a page of our website that has the "+1" button, a connection to the Google servers in the USA is made and the button is displayed on the website by communication to your browser. Here, both your IP address and the information of which of our websites you visited are transmitted to the Google server. This applies no matter if you are registered or logged in at Google Plus. Transmission takes place for users who are not registered or not logged in as well.

The "+1" button is not used in order to record your visitors in the internet. When displaying a "+1" button, Google does not permanently log your browser history and does not otherwise evaluate your visit to a page with the "+1" button. Google will save data about your visit for about two weeks for system maintenance and troubleshooting purposes. These data are, however, not structured by individual profiles, user names or URLs and also will not be forwarded to us.

If you are also a member of Google Plus and logged in at Google Plus while you use the plug-in, the collected information about your website visit will be linked to your Google Plus account as well and disclosed to other users. In case of interactions as they are possible with the different Google plugins, the corresponding information concerning you will be collected, transmitted to Google and stored there as well. For an overview of the different types of Google plugins, see here: https://developers.google.com/+/plugins

If you have made your profile publicly accessible in the settings of Google Plus, your "+1" may be displayed in Google services, such as search results or your Google profile, or in other locations on the websites and advertisements online, as notes by Google together with your profile name and your photograph.

If you do not want Google to directly assign the collected information to your Google Plus profile, you must log out of Google Plus before visiting our website.

For more detailed information on collection and use of the data by Google, your rights in this respect and options for protecting your privacy, see the data privacy notes of Google: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/

You are also able to install the corresponding add-ons in your browser to prevent loading of the Google Plugins.

Facebook Remarketing

Our online offer uses the "Facebook Pixel" from the social network Facebook, operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or, if you are located in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). The Facebook Pixel enables Facebook to determine the visitors of our offer as a target group for the presentation of ads, called "Facebook-Ads". Accordingly, we use the Facebook Pixel to only show the Facebook-Ads placed by us to such Facebook users who have shown an interest in our online offer. By using the Facebook Pixel, we want to ensure that our Facebook-Ads correspond to the potential interest of users and are not annoying. The Facebook Pixel also allows us to track the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes by showing us whether users were forwarded to our website after they clicked on a Facebook advertisement.

The Facebook Pixel is integrated by Facebook directly when you visit our website and can store a cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. If you then log into Facebook afterwards or visit Facebook while logged in, the visit to our offer will be recorded in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous to us and does not give use any information about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible. Facebook processes the data in accordance with Facebook's data usage guidelines. Accordingly, you will receive further information on how the remarketing pixel works and on the presentation of Facebook ads in general in Facebook's data usage policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

You may opt out of Facebook pixel collection and use of your information to display Facebook ads. To do this, you can go to the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or explain the contradiction about the US page http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU page http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are adopted for all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

Revocation, changes, rectification and updates

As a user of our website, you have the right to demand free information on what data concerning you are stored by us and what purposes this serves upon a simple request. In addition to this, you can have inaccurate data corrected or data that are no longer required to be stored erased. Please contact us via the above contact options in these cases.
