If you spend a lot of time in your garden or on your terrace, think about the decorative lighting and practical lighting that could brighten up this space in the dark. There are many styles to cater to each unique home. You can experiment with your outdoor lighting by combining wall and ceiling lights with floor lamps in a clever way. Set accents with recessed spotlights and provide home security with discreet wall spotlights with motion sensors.
You choose!
Hold onto the feeling of freshly cut grass and warm sunshine - this is the perfect way to plan your outdoor lighting.
Exterior wall lights are ideal for illuminating your outdoor terrace or dining area in the evening. Or even provide a stylish entrance to your home.
Motion detectors will detect movement and turn on your chosen outdoor lighting. These are great solutions to automatically illuminating your front door or deck area.
Path lights and bollard lights will eliminate dark paths around your home. Illuminate these areas directly with path lights, or emit light in all directions using LED bollards.
Safety first!
What type of protection do you need for your outdoor lights?
Before choosing a lighting product, you must consider the application and use. To be on the safe side, you would need to choose your outdoor lighting based on their protection class. We would advise at least IP44 for exterior lighting to guard against wind, UV radiation, moisture and dust.
We have developed exterior lighting products that are capable of withstanding adverse outdoor conditions. It is important to remember that the more exposed a lighting product is, the higher the degree of protection there must be. For outdoor use, we recommend IP44 (e.g. an outdoor wall light with splashproof resistance) up to IP67 (e.g. recessed floor spotlights which are water-resistant for a period of time).
