Differences to traditional light sources
What is the difference to other light sources such as conventional ceiling lights or pendant fittings? LED panels can illuminate a large area or an entire room more easily. They are completely glare-free. While normal light sources often emit light selectively.
Panel types
There are two different types of LED panels.
Installation
Recessed panels are integrated into the ceiling or wall. This means that the light is flush. This shape is suitable for installation in plasterboard, ceilings or grid ceilings. Simply insert the panel into the suspended grid ceiling element. The advantage here is that no fastening can be seen and the lighting fits effortlessly into the ceiling or wall.
Application
Surface panels are mounted on the ceiling or wall like a normal ceiling light. The only difference here is that they are space-saving and have more minimal design. Installation is similar to conventional ceiling lamps. All you need is a mounting frame with a mounting bracket. A power connection is also required.
