The different types of floor lamps

The uplighter:
The all-rounder

The uplighter does as its name describes; it throws light up towards the ceiling. Depending on the ceiling and wall colour, light is reflected and thrown back into the room which makes the light appear softer and distributed more evenly through the room. We recommend using an uplighter floor lamp to provide basic lighting for your room.

A reading light is also integrated into most of our uplighters, as they are a helpful additional light source. This means an uplighter is your all-in-one package for your reading nook.
