How to associate my light with Google Home

You can associate up to 6 products (Eglo Connect-C or Connect-Z range) to you Google Home system.
Make sure your product is in factory reset state, not linked to AWOX Home Control APP or any other app. If you choose to control your product through Google home system, you will not be able to control it with AWOX Home Control APP at the same time.

- Install Google Home App from Google Play store or Apple APP Store
- Add a Google Nest or Home device to your Home in the Google Home APP
- Ensure that your Connect-Z lights have at least FW version 2.2.10 (update using HomeControl/SmartControl APP if necessary) then Factory Reset (electrical reboot).
- Open google home APP, then click on “+”
- Click on “set up device”
- Click on “new devices”
- Choose a home then wait during your Google Home system is looking for devices to connect with
- Select “light bulb” in the category of devices. A list of available devices will appear, click on the one you want to set up. Each time you click on a device, it will blink to ease its identification.
- Click on “configure” then follow the instructions until you reach the main screen
Your device is now set up and visible under the associated room !

For Apple users, in some cases an adjustment of the privacy settings will be needed. To adjust these parameters :
Go to Settings > Privacy > Location services > Enable location Services, and click on “Google Home” and make sure the location access is NOT set on “never”
Then:
Go to Settings > Privacy > Local Network > Enable “Google Home”
