Lumen output and wattage - what ensures the brightness of your light?

In the past, wattage was the decisive factor in choosing a lighting product. Nowadays, with the choice of LED lighting, the lumen value is a larger factor. The wattage only indicates how much electricity is consumed, and not how bright a light source is.

More than just brightness

With LED lights, you can choose between different colour temperatures which are given in Kelvin (K). For comparison: a 60W lightbulb corresponds to 2700K and thus a warm white colour temperature. Between 3300K-3500K produces a neutral white light and over 5000K produces a cold white light.

Energy efficiency

With LED components, you save electricity, benefit from energy efficiency and have the option of deciding the colour temperature for your lighting.
