How to associate my light with Alexa (Zigbee compatible)
Make sure your product is in factory reset state, not linked to AWOX Home Control APP or any other APP. 1. Ensure that you have a Alexa hub that is “Zigbee 3.0“ compatible -> e.g. Echo (4th generation) 2. Verify that your Alexa hub is well configured -> can be controlled with Alexa APP on smartphone 3. Ensure that your Connect-Z lights have at least FW version 2.0.34 (update using HomeControl/SmartControl APP if necessary) then Factory Reset (electrical reboot). 4. Option 1: Connect with Vocal command using the Alexa hub a. Say “Alexa, discover my devices” (in English or your local language) b. Wait for 45 seconds, if your light is found it will blink during few seconds c. Follow Alexa hub instructions and try controlling your lights Your product is now set up, you can perform advanced settings (rename, group) using Alexa APP or voice control.
5. Option 2: Using Alexa APP connected to the Alexa hub a. Go to “Devices” b. Press “+” button c. Press “Add a device” d. Select “Light” e. Select “Other” f. Select “Find my devices” g. Wait for 45 seconds, if your light is found it will blink during few seconds h. Follow Alexa hub instructions and try controlling the light Your product is now set up, you can perform advanced settings (rename, group) using Alexa APP or voice control.
Once your product is configured with the Amazon Alexa system, you can still use the AWOX Home Control APP to control it. The AWOX Home Control App will allow you to get software upgrades.
