Remote Control
1. Remote control in the APP - lamps can not be controlled
To assign the remote control, please go to the "My groups" menu.
Then press and hold the remote control icon until the options menu shows up.
There you will find a list of your lamps. On the right side of the screen are boxes that you can select by clicking.
Please do not forget to save the settings in the top right corner of the screen.
Then the remote control should control your second lamp.
2. How to pair a light bulb with the remote control?
STEP 1
Turn on the light bulb.
STEP 2
Hold "ON" for 3 seconds.
The light bulb flickers.
The remote control is linked.
3. How to pair a second light bulb with the remote control?
You have linked a light bulb to your remote control and you wish to add another light bulb to the same remote control?
STEP 1
Turn on the new light bulb.
STEP 2
Hold "ON" for 3 seconds.
The new light bulb flickers.
The remote control is linked.
4. How to pair multiple light bulbs with multiple remote controls?
SITUATION
You have 3 light bulbs. You wish to link 2 of them to 1 remote control and 1 of them to 1 other remote control.
STEP 1
Only turn on the light bulbs you wish to link to the 1st remote control.
STEP 2
Hold "ON" for 3 seconds.
The 2 light bulbs flicker.
The 1st pairing is complete.
STEP 3
Turn off the 2 light bulbs you have already linked and turn on the 3rd one.
STEP 4
Hold "ON" on the 2nd remote control for 3 seconds.
The light bulb flickers.
The 2nd pairing is complete.
5. How to replace a faulty or lost remote?
SITUATION
You have installed light bulbs in the application and linked them to a remote control.
You have lost the remote control or it is defective, and you wish to replace it.
STEP 1
Launch the application and select "My controllers" in the menu.
Hold the remote control icon.
Deselect all the linked light bulbs.
Save the link.
STEP 2
Return to "My controllers".
Hold the remote control icon.
Press the "Trash" icon and confirm.
STEP 3
Select "My groups".
Hold the group.
Press the "Trash" icon and confirm.
The old remote control has been removed from the application.

How to add the new remote control:
Launch the application and select "My controllers" in the menu.
Switch the remote control to Smartphone mode by pressing the "ON" & "Blue" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
The remote control flickers in red.
Press "+" briefly.
The application detects the new remote control.
Select the new remote control icon (hold).
Confirm the installation wizard screens.
STEP 4
On the linking screen, select the light bulbs to be linked to the remote control.
Save the link.
The new remote control is now installed in the application and controls the selected light bulbs.
6. Can the EGLO connect products be controlled without a remote control?
Luminaires or lamps that work with MESH technology can also be controlled without a remote control tablet, by simple using a Smartphone or tablet.
7. What should I do if my luminaires do not react or only react very badly to the remote control?
If the luminaire does not react to the remote control signal, the luminaire must be manually reset and then connected to the remote control again.
8. How to reset the EGLO connect remote control?
Press and hold the "On" and "Color Cycle" button for about 5 seconds until the LED on the remote control flashes a few times.
