2. How to reset a bulb or a remote control? (RESET)
Reset luminaire
One of your light bulbs is linked to a remote control.
STEP 1
Turn on the light bulb.
STEP 2
Press the “ON“ and “Favourite 1“ buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
The light bulb will flicker in green.
The light bulb lights up in red.
You have successfully unlinked the light bulb.

Reset remote control
One of your light bulbs is linked to a remote control and the application.
STEP 1
Turn on the light bulb.
Hold the light bulb icon.
Press the "Trash" icon and confirm.
The light bulb will flicker in green.
The light bulb lights up in red.
STEP 2
Press the "ON" and "Colour cycle" buttons simultaneously.
The light bulb flickers and resets.

SITUATION 3
Electrical light bulb reset.
Start with the turned off light bulb.
Observe the following process with the switch:
Turn ON for 1 second
Turn OFF for 6 seconds
Turn ON for 1 second
Turn OFF for 6 seconds
Turn ON for 1 second
Turn OFF for 6 seconds
Turn ON for 12 seconds
Turn OFF for 6 seconds
Turn ON for 12 seconds
Turn OFF for 6 seconds
Turn ON
Once the process is over, the light bulb flickers in green.
It then lights up in red and is reset.
3. How to reset a bulb without a remote control?
Reset via app
The luminaire is linked to the application.
STEP 1
Turn on the light bulb.
STEP 2
Long press on the bulb icon.
Press the “Trash” icon and confirm.
The bulb will blink green.
The bulb lights up red.
If this is not the case, proceed to do a manual reset of the bulb.

Start with the bulb off.
Follow the steps with the switch:
Turn on 1 second
Turn off 6 seconds
Turn on 1 second
Turn off 6 seconds
Turn on 1 second
Turn off 6 seconds
Turn on 12 seconds

Turn on 12 seconds
Turn off 6 seconds
Turn on
At the end of the procedure, the bulb flashes green.
Then it turns red.
It is reset.

Luminaires or lamps that work with MESH technology can also be controlled without a Smartphone or tablet, by simply using the EGLO connect remote control.

10. What is the service life of an EGLO connect lamp?
EGLO connect luminaries or lamps promise a service life of 20,000 hours.
11. Does an illuminant/a luminaire remember the last set light colour or scene?
EGLO connect illuminants or luminaires are equipped with a memory function. In other words: The luminaire memorizes the last set setting before switching off (= disconnect from electrical main via switch) and recalls it when switched on again.
12. How high is the energy consumption during standby?
The energy consumption during standby for illuminants with a nominal output of 9 watt under 0.5 watt.
