How to associate the Smart Switch with Alexa (Zigbee compatible)?
You can connect directly with Alexa if you have an integrated hub (e.g., Echo Show 10). Otherwise, you will need a third-party Zigbee hub.
Before Starting: Make sure your product is in factory reset state and not linked to AwoX Home Control APP or any other APP. Confirm your Alexa hub is configured and can be controlled with the Alexa APP on your smart device.
Update and Reset the Smart Switch: Ensure your Smart Switch has at least firmware version 2.3.4.otherwise update in the HomeControl App. After update, delete the device in the app or factory reset it.
Connect by Voice Command: Enable Discovery Mode: Short-Press the technical butto Say "Alexa, discover my devices" (in English or your local language). Wait for 45 seconds. Alexa will discover your device and display it within the "Devices" tab.
Associate Lights with Alexa: Once your device is displayed in the Alexa APP, associate your lights with the Zigbee Alexa device. (Detailed steps in “How to associate my light with Alexa (Zigbee compatible)”)
Group Lights and Smart Switch: Use classic pairing: press the Power Button for 10 seconds within 30cm of the light. The light flashes if correctly associated.
Your environment is now set up. You can perform advanced settings such as renaming and grouping using the Alexa APP or voice control.
