Term: Efficiency
Efficiency = how economic is a bulb? It indicates how many lumens (lm) per watt (W) are created by one bulb. The higher the lumen/watt ratio, the better the transformation from power into light. Examples: 12 lm/W bulb, 20 lm/W halogen bulb, 60 lm/W energy-saving bulb, 90 lm/W triple-tube fluorescent lamp.
